Interactive Periodic Table Exhibit for Museums

A periodic table touchscreen that invites visitors to investigate the elements.

Overview

Periodic Table turns a familiar reference chart into a hands-on chemistry experience. Visitors select elements on a touchscreen and explore the information and visual examples linked to them.

The experience also connects elements with compounds and everyday materials. Instead of viewing chemical symbols as an isolated grid, visitors can follow them into examples that help give the table meaning within a science-gallery visit.

The Visitor Experience

  1. Choose an element from the touchscreen periodic table.
  2. Explore the information and imagery associated with it.
  3. Try the supported element-combination activity.
  4. Look at the resulting compound example and return to investigate another element.

What Visitors Discover

Visitors explore the organization of the periodic table and the connection between elements and materials around them. Selecting and comparing entries gives the chart a practical use, while compound examples provide a route from individual symbols to familiar substances.

Explore the Content

  • Element exploration: select entries from the periodic-table interface.
  • Element information: access the associated visual and explanatory content.
  • Compound examples: explore supported combinations and their connections with everyday materials, including the water example shown in the reference photograph.

Key Features

  • Direct touchscreen selection from the periodic table.
  • Element-specific information and visual content.
  • Compound-related interaction demonstrated in the supplied material.
  • A table or kiosk format suited to a chemistry gallery.

Who It’s For and Where It Fits

Designed for visitors aged 9 and above, the exhibit suits science museums, school-group discovery areas and galleries about materials or chemistry. It can support a quick investigation of one element or a longer discussion comparing several entries. An educator can use visitors’ selections to introduce further questions.

Exhibit Configurations and Customization

Our Periodic Table uses an industrial touchscreen. The standard dimensions are 1400 × 100 × 600 mm, with a power requirement of 1 kW. We customize dimensions, materials and appearance to suit your venue. English, Spanish and Arabic are standard software languages, with additional languages available on request.

Space and Installation Requirements

  • Plan an approach area that gives users a comfortable reach across the table and lets companions read the screen.
  • Control glare on the angled display and provide space for a group to pause without blocking nearby exhibits.
  • Allow power, cable protection and service access; confirm the computer’s ventilation, network needs and cabinet mounting requirements.

What’s Included

Our Periodic Table experience brings together element and compound content with an industrial touchscreen interface. We define the software selection and equipment package with you for the proposed installation. Your project proposal sets out the supplied components, installation and training scope, and any consumables or ongoing services. Every exhibit includes a one-year standard warranty.

Application Examples

  • Science museums: add a touch-based investigation to a chemistry gallery.
  • Materials exhibitions: connect the elements with familiar substances and products.
  • School-group learning spaces: provide an interface for comparing elements during facilitated visits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can visitors select individual elements?

Yes. The periodic-table touchscreen is the entry point for exploring element information.

Does it demonstrate compounds?

The supplied material includes an element-combination interaction and compound examples. The supported combinations should be confirmed in the final content list.

Is it a complete laboratory simulator?

The demonstrated experience is a curated exploration of elements and compounds, rather than an unrestricted chemical laboratory.

Can it use an existing touch display?

Compatibility depends on the screen, touch system, operating environment and software requirements. An existing display should be assessed before it is included in the installation plan.
